Squirrel hunting is a natural stepping stone toward hunting other game, and squirrels are an ideal quarry for new hunters. I like Squirrel hunting.
I like squirrel hunting too. Our son graduated from frogs to squirrels to deer. When it was time to field dress a deer for the first time – it all made sense to him. Small game with a bow can be more challenging than bow hunting deer.
